Alpinestars Tech 10 Supervented Boots

The benchmark boot in Motocross, the Tech 10 Supervented boot further advances the innovations that make it the most technical motocross boot ever. Featuring two inlet ports on the front, a ventilated shinplate, perforated padding and extensive mesh sections, the Tech 10 Supervented has been designed for maximum airflow through the boot’s front and effective heat exchange. The new mesh inner bootie boasts a 3D Higher Spring insole which uses air channels within the sole for optimal levels of ventilation, while also creating a cushioning effect for enhanced levels of comfort. There is also a new sole with an extended honeycomb design for superior grip and feel on the bike’s pegs, especially in wet and muddy conditions.

About Tech 10 Supervented Boots

Technology:

The patented design channels air into the boot through two toe box inlet ports and a mesh intake behind the straps. Air flows through channels in the inner bootie sole to cool your feet, then exits via exhaust ports at the back and sides of the boot.

Motocross Action Magazine Testing:

The MXA wrecking crew noticed the increased airflow when riding through the pits, riding slow on the track or when trail riding. We didn’t notice the vents while racing, but that’s to be expected. The vents certainly aren’t a gimmick. They allow air (and dust) to permeate the inner bootie and your riding socks. Luckily, Alpinestars has implemented a soft microfiber gaiter to help seal out excess water and dirt. We were impressed with the gaiter’s ability to keep rocks, dirt clods and even water out of the boot.

Review by Kris Keefer:

In the video below, Kris offers valuable insight into the key features he’s noticed as a top rider and tester. One standout point he highlights is the inner bootie, which we've also consistently found to be a major difference-maker.

Our Take:

These boots are designed for cooling and comfort without sacrificing top-level protection, ideal for both pro riders and weekend warriors. Perfect for hot, dry conditions, they shine in those environments. While we’ve used them on the East Coast and noticed the front vent can get clogged with soft, loamy dirt, the boots still offer plenty of benefits beyond just the toe vents, making them a solid choice for riders nationwide.
